I was finally able to get to downtown Winston-Salem, North Carolina, my hometown, for some after dark photography. I had a bonus with my cousin Hughes Grogan joining me for some catchup time as well as some photography.
Our target area was centered around 4th street and a bit on 5th street.
I was really impressed with the re-vitalization of downtown. Many storefronts were empty the last time downtown. I loved the repurposing of many tobacco and textile buildings. Apartments, condos and new businesses have bought people back to downtown.
