Wedding Photographers? 'Dime a dozen,' right? However ... the day has come, this is your wedding, not a friend's, not your cousin's, it's your special day, so, 'dime a dozen' now? I don't think so ... do you? You want the best, you want know-how, you want professional, you want an experienced photographer to be in charge of the photography for your day, yea ... it's your special day. You want a photographer that will take charge and take the worry off of you, you have so much going on, you need to know that you can relax, don't want to think about, just know it is taken care of ... then you are in the right place.
What you can expect
You can expect a seasoned, professional photographer with over 40 years experience. In my career, I have photographed just about everything. That is the kind of experience you should be looking for in a photographer. So many photographers today lack many things, experience is the most important. How do they deal with the unexpected things that happen at an event. Are they prepared? What have they overlooked? You should expect professionalism in working with your guests, working with family in addition to capturing your day ... your wedding day. You should expect, professional images, professionally edited images. Your book, your prints, your wall display is professionally printed, professionally designed. You're in the right place.
I shoot from a journalistic point of view which is much of my background. Together with my assistant, we cover your wedding concisely and completely. We use the best camera equipment, all pro grade, only the best for our clients. Anything less ... is less.
What's next?
We need to get together, on the phone at first is good, but eventually we need to have an in person meeting to discuss your wedding, how you envision the day, how you want the photography. We have options, we have you covered. I look forward to talking to you, to meeting you and meeting if not exceeding your expectations.

"John and Laury did an outstanding job capturing our special day from getting ready at The Beal Center before the wedding till the very end when Chad and I ran through the arched fiery arch of sparklers at the very last moment of the evening. John was so artistic catching special moments of our day such as a shot downward on the staircase as Chad and I had a gentle kiss. John’s use of the stairs gave the picture a very romantic look against the wooden staircase. I am considering using this shot as a portrait. John has a laid back and easy going personality that makes his clients feel at ease and comfortable in front of the camera. He was patient with us the entire day and evening and made us feel comfortable for poses as well as throughout the afternoon and into the evening for those unannounced candid shots. After the wedding was over and it was time to go over the photos John takes his time with his clients and discusses his perspective of each shot that was taken and why or why not it should be used in our book. I would give John and Laury 5 stars for his time, effort and his friendliness." - Angela Harper Hodges
