2025–2026 Atlanta Gladiators — Year in Review

There were great nights, tough nights, unexpected moments, and plenty of times when fans left the arena wondering what might have been. But through it all, one thing never changed—Gladiator pride.

The 2025–2026 season brought its share of highs and lows as the Atlanta Gladiators battled their way through another competitive ECHL season. At times they looked unbeatable; at others, they tested the patience of even their most devoted fans. Of course, every hockey fan knows there is always an armchair coach in the stands with a different game plan.

But that's part of hockey.

The Gladiators played hard, competed night after night, and gave their fans plenty of reasons to cheer. They battled their way to the top of the division during the season and earned their place in the playoffs. When playoff hockey arrived, the intensity went up another notch. The Gladiators fought to stay alive, but eventually their postseason run came to an end.

And then, just like that, the season was over.

For me, photographing the Gladiators is about more than capturing goals and celebrations. It's about the moments in between—the determination on a player's face, the collision along the boards, the anticipation before a faceoff, the reaction of the crowd, and those split seconds that tell the story of hockey better than words ever could.

These are some of those moments from the 2025–2026 Atlanta Gladiators season.

Congratulations to the Gladiators on a hard-fought season, and thank you to the players, coaches, staff, and fans who make hockey in Atlanta worth photographing.

Gladiators Finished 3rd in the their division and 4th in the league.
